Never Ending Card

Hi there and welcome to my blog today where I will be sharing my penultimate Jar of Love card from the weekend retreat last weekend. I've wanted to make a Never Ending card for years but I never got round to it until now! I got the tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers HERE
Although it looks complex the mechanism is literally 4 pieces of Whisper White cardstock that are 3 inch x 6 inch in size. The tutorial has a little video which I found really useful.
I then really enjoyed decorating all the different panels with the stamps from the Jar of Love
Hope you like todays make, I'll be back tomorrow with the final project.

Hello! Blog Hop for the Autumn-Winter Catalogue 2016

Welcome to the Hello! Blog Hop for the brand new Autumn/Winter catalogue. You’ll be hopping around some amazing Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators blogs, each with an inspirational project, featuring new catalogue products. Currently you’re visiting me, Julie Kettlewell from the UK. Hello there! You can continue hopping by using the next button at the end of this post. Now, let’s scroll down to see what I’ve been making.

Last weekend I ran my 4th Craft Retreat at a local hotel and this was one of the projects for the Sunday, when we always do Christmas projects! I love love love this project and it certainly got the WOW factor. I had seen a few peg wreaths on Pinterest and this is my take on it using the Candy Cane Lane papers. We will be making this at my All Day ReTREAT day with spaces left on Wednesday 16th and Saturday 19th November of you would like to re-create it. The hardest part was finding enough pegs in the shop for my 17 ladies but with a little help from a lovely team member I got there.
The pegs are attached to a copper florist wreath ring and hot glued on to the ring. It's not a complex project, just takes time to get it right.
I am still loving the Cookie Cutter Christmas set so naturally had to use these little guys to decorate the inside of the wreath.
Thank you for visiting today. The next stop is the talented and very lovely Erica Cerwin. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!

Garden of Love

Good Morning
I am back today with another make from this weekends craft retreat. This one was a CASED card from one I saw by the talented Bronwyn Eastley and purchased her tutorial to make my own version. Bronwyn's tutorial was in inches but I was working with A4 for this card so I made mine in centimetres.
I wanted to create a full garden of flowers and spent a lot of time at the Big Shot cutting out the little blighters! My ladies were seeing these flowers in their sleep after a day of working with them, luckily they loved the finished results!
The Classic Label punch is a very handy piece of equipment to have for this card for the fencing as is the Hardwood background stamp.
Once the ladies had got this card assembled they all loved it and I think most of them will struggle to give it away!
The great thing about it is that is folds flat-ish to pop in an envelope!
Hope you like this one today?
